I’m a Filipino American artist based in South Los Angeles. I make figurative paintings about memory, intimacy, and the emotional residue of half-remembered places.

I studied Molecular Biology at UC Berkeley and hold an MFA from NYU Graduate Film. My recent solo exhibition, Makahiya: I wanted you to feel the same, was presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara Satellite. I am a member of the Michael Harding Rising Artists program and was selected for New American Paintings, Issue 181: Pacific Coast, juried by Bill Powers, owner of Half Gallery.
